Parks & Trails New York is the statewide leader in efforts to increase funding and improve stewardship of New York’s state and local parks. Our Campaign for Parks has had several victories, including successfully advocating for the largest infusion of capital funding in the history of state parks. Our efforts this year to Save our State Parks from closing has brought a new level of visibility to parks and inspired unprecedented grassroots activity. Key Responsibilities

Parks & Trails New York can provide you with hands-on experience, while you work to protect and expand parks and trails in New York State. Skills: Strong writer, good oral communicator, well-organized, multi-tasker Description: Parks & Trails New York is looking for a part-time intern to assist with communications and outreach. Hours: Requires 12-15 week commitment of 10-20 hours/week. Hours are flexible in terms of days and times. Projects:
