Cool off at a State Park this Summer

As the summer heat intensifies, going for a swim can be the perfect way to cool off! New York State Parks offer many options for swimming from gorgeous lakes to relaxing beaches to pristine pools. Swimming is a great outdoor activity that the whole family can enjoy together. There are more than 100 beaches, pools and spray grounds that state parks offer. For individuals who do not know how to swim, select New York State Parks are offering free Learn-to-Swim lessons from trained staff. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill surrounded by the beautiful backdrop of a beloved state park. Pre-registration is required for the Learn-to-Swim lessons at all locations.
