Parks & Trails New York and the Open Space Institute's Alliance for New York State Parks program invited supporters to join us for the 11th annual Park Advocacy Day on Monday, March 13, 2017 in Albany to support the continued revitalization of our state parks system.

This day of lobbying is critical to ensuring legislators see there is strong support for this continued investment in our shared natural and historical treasures. Participants joined with park supporters from throughout the state to meet with policymakers and stress the importance of supporting funding for state parks, particularly another round of Parks 2020 funding for capital needs at state parks and historic sites and continued funding for the Park and Trail Partnership Program.
